About us
1998 saw friends Anne Bean and Barbara Linley purchase
two female Huacaya. However, after the acquisition of two Suri females shortly
thereafter, the emphasis has been on breeding these magnificent
animals. After his initial reservation David has become a convert to
alpacas and wholeheartedly supports Barbara and Anne in their
alpaca venture. |
|
Anne Bean originally bred miniature poodles and latterly has successfully raced and bred thoroughbred racehorses. Her general interest in
breeding and genetics has led to breeding quality alpacas, especially Suri.

Barbara Linley is a Clinical Family Therapist, who has a background in zoology, genetics and animal
diseases. Barbara currently manages the family property Ambleside, which runs super fine merino sheep
and alpacas. In 2006 Ambleside established its own super fine merino stud based on the famous Rockbank bloodlines. |
